Meet Christie
Christie Apodaca, MS, CCC-SLP
Owner & Speech-Language Pathologist
I founded Hello Sunshine to bring together two things I care deeply about: meaningful care for the people we serve and thoughtful support for the professionals providing it. With more than 14 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, my background includes educational settings, clinical work, and private practice. Working with students, families, and educators has shaped my belief that support should reflect each person’s strengths, needs, and everyday life. I also have specialized training in orofacial myofunctional therapy—an area that holds personal significance because of its impact on my own family. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and our dog, traveling, knitting, reading, running, and connecting with friends.
