Speech and Language Pathologist
With over 15+ years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, Christie Apodaca, MS, CCC-SLP has worked in schools, clinical settings, and private practice, supporting clients of all ages with a wide range of communication needs. She uses individualized, evidence-based approaches to help each client build communication skills in a way that honors their unique strengths, needs, and neurotype.
Christie has specialized training in orofacial myofunctional therapy, an area that is especially meaningful to her because of its impact on her own family. Her practice is proudly neurodivergent-affirming, creating an inclusive and empowering space where clients feel understood, supported, and confident.
Christie lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband, two kids, and their dog. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, running, knitting, reading, long walks, and spending time with family and friends.
